Driver Vehicle Examination Report Service
The Driver Vehicle Examination Report Service (DVER) provides an efficient method for Intermodal Equipment Providers (IEPs) and Motor Carriers (MCs) to be notified that a DVER has been issued on intermodal equipment. The DVER service is currently offered at no charge to GIER IEP subscribers and UIIA MC participants as a value-added service to the GIER and UIIA programs.
Benefits Of The DVER Service
- Notifies intermodal equipment providers and motor carriers that a DVER has been issued on intermodal equipment. IANA has established a direct interface with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) that allows timely delivery of the DVER notification.
- Sends violation details via XML, as well as PDF e-mail delivery.
- Provides web portal access for DVER management, storage, lookups, retrieval and reporting.
- Provides expanded reporting functionalities to generate reports by inspection level, violation type and/or specific violation code.
